I have xp and two drives, C:, and a second divided into F:
and G: Windows hung up, and after several chkdsk /f It
now recognizes the drive, but there are no files on the
drive. Under drive properties, it correctly identifies
195,000 files and 50 gigs of space filled. I would like
to access these files, but not sure how to "recover"
them. I have not overwritten or otherwise used the F:
drive. G: works fine, as does C: I keep my programs on
C: and the files on F: Unfortunately, I do not have
backups of much of F:. I do not have the blaster worm,
and I know the files must still be there, unerased, but
the OS will not access them. Any thoughts?
