Explorer.exe faulting

I am facing serious problem while using Windows Explorer
or while browsing the system otherwise.
Suddenly a pop-up comes up saying "Windows XP has
encountered a problem and needs to be closed. " "any
unsave info will be lost".
On clicking on details the error signature is as follows:
App Nmae : explorer.exr
App Version : 6.0.2800.1106
Module Name : unknown
Mod Version : 0.0.0.0
On clicking on Technical details i get the details of at
memory location the exception occrred.
I need to fix up this constant troublesome problem.
Kindly suggest.

Empty your cache... Right-click your browser icon, properties, delete files or within
IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.
