Windows Explorer

I have a window pop up saying
Windows Explorer has encountered a problem & needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the info you were
working on might be lost.

I have to click on the window which shuts down everything
I am doing. Please Help. I have no worm virus. I used a
cleanup disk for the simantic vurus removal tool. It said
I had no worm.

Thanks all ideas welcome.
