???? how many running tasks should there benormally??

wondering about all the running tasks and the effect it
is having on my putter my girlfiend and her son install
alot of stuff on here and almost all of it is always
running , so i was wondern is there a way to identify
what kind of program and the name of it is to determin if
i can delete it??????iam trin to improvfe my performance
i have 1.5 gig proc and 512mb of memory and dsl can
anyone help me???????????

Try the name of the exe into www.google.com to find out what it is and for
the most part if you need it running.
