Hello.....I just got a new Dell. I upgraded to XP prof
from the Home edition that they offered. I installed AOL
and it gave me an error message telling me that I can't
connect to the Internet. I was able to look at my email,
so it was a little weird. Anyway...the message suggested
that I restart which I did. I went as far as to
reinstall AOL. It didn't work. I called AOL tech
support. They took me into the Control Panel -->
Perf/Main --> Admin and Main Tools --> Services. She
told me to go down to Remote Access Auto Connection
Manager. Mine was not in the "started" status. When I
attempted to manually start it, I was given an error
message. It said that access was denied. Can anyone
shed some light on the matter? Thanks in advance!!
