Windows Update 823559

I have successfuly downloaded Critical update 823559 4
times but each time I scan for updates it keeps saying I
need it. What is the deal ? Here is my history.

Yes... it can do that sometimes.... it has happened on a handful of updates
for me....
In each case, it has not been that it didn't install... but rather that
Windows Update did not recognize that it had.

Two things:
1) You can always confirm that an update took, by looking for it via "Add or
Remove Programs", in "Control Panel"... they display in the list.
2) You can remove the sticking update from showing up in Windows Update....
Scan for updates, then, when the same old one shows up... look on the left
of the screen, and select "Personalize Windows Update". It will allow you
to shut off the display of that pesky update.
