I use MCE which is always put in standby when not in use. I'd really like to
use windows messenger as it interfaces nicley with MCE but when waking the
computer will not login automatically. I can set it so it will do it from
shutdown but not standby
Is there a script that will log windows messenger in after standby??
ANy help greatly appriciated

Greetings Dom,
I'm afraid I'm not in a position to test this at the moment (so this is a guess), updating to
Windows Messenger 5.1 may add this support:

Thanks but this didn't work. It has improved the consistency after a reboot
but the machine won't sign in after being in standby.
Also after the update i had to run messenger from the windows shell and not
the mce shell to finish the install which foxed me for a bit!

Hi Dom,
Ah. Well there isn't anything else really that will help with this.
