Some programs require me to restart my browser in order
for them to work. How do i do that?

In the browser (presume you using Internet Explorer), click on the
little 'x' in the upper right hand corner to close it. Then in Start
button, start again.

In all honest, I never heard of restarting a browser. For my info, what
programs ask you to do this?

close Internet Explorer (or Netscape, opera or whatever browser you use) and
then start it again.

Harry,
Thanks. That explains it. I never installed a popup stopper. I use
Mozilla 99% of the time and it works well for this sort of thing with no
fuss.
