How can I stop messenger loading up when I turn on the computer. I am trying
to quicken up the start up process. At the moment the messenger icon appears
in the notification area every time I turn the computer on.
Thank you for the help

Greetings,
Just double-click the icon, choose the Tools menu, then Options, then General or Preferences
(depending on version) category and uncheck the "Automatically run.." option.
