losing windows

A few months ago when I tried to open my "my pic folder" my window apps would
vanish the start button and all. i would either have to reboot or do
cont/alt/deleat and open the task manager to open more windows. now the same
thing happens when I try to access "my documents" I have ran every
security/virus/mal wear program I can find and all say ok. Can anyone help?

You can try a System Restore, but that would delete anything that you've
done/added/deleted/changed back to the new Restore Point. You can go
back up to 90 days.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.
