Hello, I am having many problems with my computer (adware..etc). I have
McAfee virus scan and have scanned my computer every day for the last few
days. Each time, the scan finds PUPs and trojans, and I delete them. I was
told limewire might be the cause, so I uninstalled it along with some other
programs that did not orginally come with the computer. Now I am trying to
delete a user account that most of these problems where downloaded under.
When asked if I want to delete the files or keep the files associated with
this user name, I have clicked on both options several different times and
then it seems to lock up and say "not responding". Please help!

How long are you waiting when you click "Delete all file"?

Anyways, try this approach. Open the Run dialog box on the Start Menu and
type:

control userpasswords2

Highlight the unwanted user account and click REMOVE or DELETE. Then open
Windows Explorer and navigate to "c:\documents and user". Delete the folder
for the unwanted user.

Hello,

Start > Right-click My Computer and click Properties. Click on the
Advanced Tab then click Settings under User Profiles. Highlight the UserID
you wish to remove and click Delete. When done deleting click OK.
