I have a fairly new Dell Dimension 3100 running Windows XP Home. I
would like to install a video card that has an S-Video out port on it
so I can watch videos from my computer on my TV. However, I want to
keep using my current video card for use with my monitor. My question
is, can I effectively have two video cards installed without
conflicting hardware/software issues?? The reason I want to keep using
the one for my monitor is because I plan on just buying a cheap one
for TV use and I don't want to loose quality for actual computer use.
Thanks!

Maybe, maybe not -- the dependency is compatability between the cards and
the drivers. Besides that, if the cards are game capable, the power supply
may be too small.
(Usually not a problem with older inexpensive video cards)
Do not expect fully independent operation.
