Symbols - MS XP Home Edition

Help! I don't see the SYMBOL dialog box under the Insert
menu. It shows Objects but not symbols. How do I get
SYMBOLS, on what should be, a default option? Thanks

Nancy, I assume you are using Word:
It's on the Insert menu, there is
Break
Page numbering
Auto Text
Field
Symbol

If you can't see it, Go to Tools, Customise, Options and click show Full
Menus.
