Windows update site

Windows update site is prompting me to to download
a 97kb driver for my D-Link AirPlus DWL-520+ Wireless PCI
Adapter.The released date is June 05 2003. Can you tell me
the purpose or fuction for this diver. I've upgraded to the
latest Firmware from the D-Link web site and the PCI
card appears to be working properly.

Ignore that particular update and continue using the current one.
I downloaded it from Windows Update and it was troublesome.
