View Full Version : Undeliverable messages

For the past two weeks I have been receiving messages from something called
Mailer-Daemon telling me that messages I have purported to have sent to many
different people at a state address in Tennessee are undeliverable. I have
also been told in e-mails that my computer is infected with a virus. I have
installed the patch from Microsoft for the current infections, I have
regularly upgraded my Norton Anti Virus software, I regularly run virus
inspections and both my incoming and out going mail is inspected by Norton.
As far as I can tell, I am advised by various windows that my computer is
clean and uninfected by any virus.

Can anyone please tell me what is going on and what I can do to stop this
nuisance, please? I am getting up to 10 a day and it is driving me potty.

Thank you

Geoff;
There is really nothing you can do to stop them.
Another computer infected with the virus that has your name in the
address book is spoofing your address.
As long as you have taken the precautions as well as a firewall, that
is about it.

Thank you for your words. I am still getting up to 10 a day and I am going
to wind up in the funny farm.
