>I hope you get an answer because I have the same
problem. I just did the initial installation for a new HP
computer with Windows XP. I tried to install all the
updates at once and 13 were successfully installed. An
additional 13 updates "failed" to install. What do I do
now? The updates that failed to install do not continue
to appear on the Windows update requirements screen. I
would think that if I could delete these failed update
files on my computer then they would reappear on the
windows update requirement screen and I could again try
to download and install. But I don't know how to find
these failed updates. I suppose I could use the retro
approach and move the configuration back to the first day
before I downloaded the updates, and try again. But I
would rather not because I installed a lot of software
and don't want to go through all that again. I am sure
someone can help us here. Thanks to all.
