Multiple Users only 1 can log on

Greetings

I have an issue where there are 6 users on one PC, but only 1 is able to
access his Messenger account. All others appear offline regardless. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled the application (Windows Live Messenger 8.x), run
a restore point to a previous time, a repair install; pretty much everything
short or reformatiing and reloading from scratch. Also, regardless of who
logs on, the 1 account which works gets launched! Any ideas?

AMD Sempron 2500, 512MB/RAM, Nvidia Graphics w/128mb, WinXP Home.

Install A-patch from http://apatch.org/ and messenger plus! Live from
http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/

then you can run as many as you like on the same user...........
