I have 2 problems I would like to post to anyone who can
offer help.
I have tried to use System Restore and no matter where I
try to go back, I don't get an error message, but it
shows the System Restore page as:
"Restoration Incomplete
Your computer cannot be restored to: (any date or time
tried)
Day DAte
Title
No changes have been made to your computer.
To choose another restore point, restart System Restore"
Has anyone had problems with XP's Restore feature?
I have tried workarounds but it still won't work.
Oh how I wish I had "Go Back" again. :(

Also, I have short-cut this site to desktop, but each
time I come to it, I get the major listing at the left of
the screen, and have to work my way through all of the
listings to get to Windows XP, and then to Performance
and Maintenance.
Anyone offer help on this?
Thanks all.

Very possible the restore file may be corrupted. Turn off system
restore--reboot and turn it back on. This has an effect of clearing out
the restore files. Run your system for a couple of days (don't add or
delete anything) then do a restore to test. Or, create a restore point
then do a restore operation.
