messenger keeps signing out

[frustated]

I have to manually sign in every 2-3 hours. For some reason I get dropped
(signed out) thoughout the day and have to sign in again. why?

I am having the same problem today plus so are several of my cohorts today.
There has to be a reason this problem is popping up for more then one person.
Anyone out there with an answer or an idea?

I suspect the latest round of windows updates, cause I started the same
problem right about that time. I have two computers, and they are both doing
it. Messenger will spontaneously list no contacts online, then I sign out
and back in, or sometimes it simply signs me out. Very frustrating.
Microsoft is not very good about owning up to problems with their updates, so
I'll bet this is related to an update.
