View Full Version : Regedit

I, like many others, have contracted the MSBlaster virus.
I deleted it from the Systems 32 folder and prefetch. I
also deleted it from regedit. So I thought. Upon checking
regedit again, I found not only MSblaster, but sobig.exe.
I searched for sobig in my system but found nothing. Nor
is it running in the Task Manager. I do not understand why
they would be in regedit.
I apologize for the many questions....having difficulty.
Thank you,
Brian

Buy a good anti-virus utility.

Go to http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ and run the Free Online Virus and
Security Check.
There are removal tools at the site for any worms or viruses found.
