Auto Shutdown

What i want to do is to have my home computer shut down on
its own at a certain time and not be able to restart for a
number of hours. Is this possible?

Yes, it is. You need to use Task Scheduler for that particular job, here is
the command that you can use to shut down your computer using task
scheduler. It will execute at your mentioned time. Post back if you don't
know how to use task scheduler.

Sorry for missing it earlier. It is
C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 01
Just copy paste, if there is a risk of missing the spaces, there are 3 in
there.
