windows explorer crash

Windows explorer crashes and shuts down with the error
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The
cousomised tool bars i had made then disapear

This happens when files or folders are copied and pasted,
or right clicked on. I can do either of these operations
once fine, the crash occurs if i try to copy or right
click a second time (even if it is a different file)
I had recentally installed asp.net web martix onto my
computer, and the problem started to occur after this.
I have tried to find a fix on the Microsoft site, but
couldn't

Please help as this is getting really annoying
