I keep getting this message "Wnd for RNAdmin". This happens
when I try to shut down my PC. This RNAdmin is some type of
program in relation to shutting down my computer????.I have
to click on "End Now" to shut down pc. Any help would be
appricated(sic).

Notification Wnd for RNAdmin

There has been a long discussion in the Win 98 forum regarding system
problems caused
by RealOne Player. Rye wanted to know how to solve the problem with on Win
XP (see
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win98/r1049418668). Here is my
response:

I have RealOne Player version 2.0 installed on Windows 2000 (Win XP should
be similar).
I sometimes had problems with "Notification Wnd for RNAdmin" during Windows
shutdown.

I found the following in my Windows registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run]"TkBellExe
"
="C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe -osboot"

This registry key instructs Windows to run realsched.exe during system start
up.

(You can see this program running on your system by opening Windows Task
Manager,
clicking on the Processes tab, and searching for realsched.exe. You can
select the
process name and click on the End Process button to stop it.)

I deleted the key, but the next time I ran RealOne Player, it recreated the
key.

I then went to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB folder
(using Windows
Explorer) and renamed "realsched.exe" to "PreventExecution- realsched.exe".
This
seems to have solved my problem...realsched.exe does not run, but I can
still use
RealOne Player.

(By the way, a number of free utilities are available to help you control
what programs
are automatically started on your computer during system startup. It sounds
like
MSConfig provided this ability for Win 98 users, but it is not available in
Win 2000.
I use PC Magazine's Startup Cop:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,2173,00.asp.
You could also take a look at http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml .)I hope
this helps.-- SincerelyLarry Maietta"rlbumich" > wrote
