java script error message

A couple days ago I was browsing the internet and my
antivirus software picked up a virus a JAV_ virus. It
quarantined it and I deleted the file. Apparently I
shouldnt have since it must have been an essential file.
I am not able to view some pages now such as hotmail.
Any ideas on how I can fix this problem? My system
restore was not on at the time.

If you can get there, go to this page and down load Java, and hopefully it
will correct your problem.
