Help!!!
Out of no where, for some reason when I plug in my portable devices to
ActiveSync my data on my PC to my hand held, ActiveSync will try and
connect but then will come back with an error message," ActiveSync
cannot connect to the Windows Mobile Powered Device. To troubleshoot
the problem, click OK." I've tried following the message, but nothing
successful. I've even gone the route to update ActiveSync to latest
and greatest 4.2. I am running WXP.
One thing that I noticed differently though is the COM port my device I
have plugged up, the Local Area Connection keeps getting higher from
what I used to believe said 3 or 5, is now at 13. Is it possible that
I have multiple COM ports open which may be tying up my TCP/IP port
line? I have not installed any new programs and I've checked my
firewalls for Norton AntiVirus. I have done all I could think of and
still no luck. Anyone out there that may have had this issue before,
please respond.
