Hello,

I have a very basic dvd camera which I use to record my travels. It is a no
bells camera. Record, finalize and play the dvd on your TV or laptop. What i
would like to do is copy it for distribution to my family. An average DVD-R
for this camera is 30min. I usually play it back on my TV/laptop. I need to
download to my laptop HD and then copy it back to to a blank dvd-r. Is this
feasable and kosher, law wise. If it is ok, can it be downloaded and if so
what is the procedure. Does one need a special program,..

Thanks Much

Law is not an issue when you are
copying your own creation.

If all you wish to do is copy the disk
you do not need to download the
content to your hard drive. You need
a DVD burner and software that's
capable of copying a DVD.

If you need to edit the contents of
the DVD, the following articles may
