I have a special keyboard because I am handicapped. This
keyboard has been designed to function with a standard
keyboard driver which comes in Windows operating
systems. This keyboard has been used for many years on
several computers, but I am having trouble on my new
computer with Windows XP professional. The keyboard is
not recognized on a hard boot. After a hard boot and I
restart the computer the keyboard is recognized.
Apparently, for some reason the driver will not load from
a hard boot, but will once I restart the computer.
I am perplexed.

Stu, do you have a WinXP driver for the keyboard. Older Devices usually
have this problem since the Manufacturer does
not keep up with drivers for newer OS's.

Hi Rich,
This keyboard was designed by InTouch Systems to function
with any Windows operating system standard keyboard
driver. I have two brothers with the same keyboard and
one of them has Windows XP professional installed on his
computer as I do. It surely is annoying to have to
restart the computer every morning after I turn it on so
that the keyboard is recognized. I will not give up
until I figure it out.
Thank you for your concern.
Have a great day, Stu
