Nine times out of ten, a system freeze can be traced to either
faulty hardware (i.e. video card/adapter, mouse) or incorrect
or corrupt hardware drivers. Make a list of your internal hardware
components, then visit each manufacturer's support web site for
the latest Windows XP compatible drivers.
If you have a notebook or laptop, visit the manufacturer's support
web site for the latest Windows XP drivers.
