Quick Launch Bar

My quick launch bar (next to the Start button), has
disappeared. When I go to properties of the task bask bar
and re-check it, it won't stay checked.

When I right click on the task bar, go to toolbars and
select Quicklaunch, I get an error message that
says "cannot create toolbar."

Can anyone help?

Quick Launch - Missing or Doesn't Function Properly

This behavior can occur if the Quick Launch folder has been deleted. To
resolve this issue, recreate the Quick Launch folder. Create a folder named
Quick Launch at the following location:

C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
