I've built my own PC and Installed Media Center and want to be able to use
Media Center on the TV while using the PC Monitor for something else. The
video card has to outputs so I'm working on that but how can I have 2 sound
cards so one is used by Media Center and one by XP ?

Thanks

Umm, Media Center IS just a Version of XP. You don't have 2 operating
systems, just a larger screen on the same desktop (2 screens wide) That
won't prevent you from installing a second audio card, but the operating
system will only use one as the default and you may only seperate by
sound types. You may wish to pose your question in the Media Center
group for further guidance.

Thanks. I know Media Center is an application on XP Professional. Just
checking if there is a way to have 2 sound cards. I've asked the Media Center
team.

Media Center is not an application on XP Pro! Media Center is a tweaked
version of XP Pro, which mainly has the possibility of logging onto a domain
removed from it (after initial install.) You can not locate and download
Media Centre for installing onto XP Pro yourself.
