Changing Display Name

Could anyone tell me how to change a display name from an email address to a
simple name? The email address was entered in error, and we can't touch the
name in the "profile" area as it is "greyed out".

You'll need to click on the verification link in the verification e-mail that will be sent to
your e-mail address.

If you need another verification e-mail sent to you, just contact Passport Services (form is
at the bottom):

Cathy I had a problem with my display name and I changed it by signing into
messenger then clicking TOOLS then clicking OPTIONS you then can change your
display name
