I have an issue with my Windows XP Home PC that is
described by the MS KB article
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;811428&sd=ee. This has to do with the computer having
to wait anywhere from 10-40 minutes before it responds
after reboot and logging in. The event log mentions an
event id 7011 and an issue with the AudioSrv service. As
mentioned in the KB I do have an audio device that has a
yellow exclamation point in the device manager that I
have not been able to resolve.
What I cannot glean from the KB article is how to resolve
this issue on an existing Windows installation.
Anybody have any experience with this or have any
suggestions?
Thanks!
