windows update failed to install

Automatic Update informed me I had a downloaded update
that needed to be installed, but it froze and failed to
install. How do I find out what it was, and get it
installed?

Have you tried running Windows Update again? If you still need an update it
should still tell you. you can also view the Installation History in
Windows Update.

Make sure you are going to
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

You should delete your Temporary Internet Files. In IE goto Tools>>Internet
Opitions>>Delete Temp. Internet Files.
