I just had a major crash from just this scenario...I got
the fix for the blasterworm and decided that I needed to
get all the updates for my system. After getting almost
all, i begin receiving this error window Stating, "Files
that are required for windows to run properly have been
replaced by unrecoginized versions. To maintain system
stability, windows must restore the original. " then it
asks me to put in my winXP Home Edition CD. It first
told me it was the wrong cd. Now it runs but what do I
do from here? Las time I went to Dell and THEY locked up
all my info and lost it all. Can someone with some
knowledge help this time!!
