Hi all,.. I am desperate for some HELP ! I run win xp , puter is 2 yrs old,
working PERFECTLY, ( almost ) I downloaded Win LIVE, and Yahoo with VOICE,..
began experiencing " SNOW " like static through headphones , with Yahoo,...
so loud it cancelled out the other party, and the web cam either went to slow
motion, froze or blacked out,... Went to Windows Live,, and it worked
PERFECT for about a week and the same thing started there too,, I can "
HOLD " the call and resume it a few seconds later, and its Fine,, but then
the " SNOW " like static comes back.. I rate the call or report the problem
to Yahoo, and they " BLOW ME OFF " by saying my IP might have been blocked as
some countrys do that, and if that is the case, there is nothing they can do
about it,.. I live in Western Canada, and ALL of my contacts are in the
States,, I can call PC to PC in LA and talk all day with the headphones and
cam going and never a problem,,, but let me try pc to pc in eastern USA,, and
Static ,, big time.. I was told it was Yahoo's tool bar,,, so i deleted it,,
but the problem still exists,, If i run cam only,.and type,, the cam lasts
longer but eventually blacks out or freezes.. IF i talk only,,, never a
problem,, now its the same with Windows Live.... any Help in this area will
be GREATLY APPRECIATED,, as this driving me NUTS,,,
