Help please !
September 27th 06, 05:26 PM
Hi. Just wondering if anyone can help. my computer does not have speakers,
only way i listen to music is it playing through the speaker in the tower but
i rebooted not long ago and since then i dont get any sound at all..

i had this problem not long ago with the drivers. Windows media player would
have an error saying it could not play because of the sound card or something
along those lines, so i fixed it by downloading some random driver.

I tried that again and windows found a driver but im not sure its the right
1. The error message does not appear anymore but i still dont have sound?

My computers operates on Windows Vista, and it's a HP compaq

Any ideas?

Vista? This is Windows XP group. Perhaps you need to install the drivers
for the Operating sytem you are using, or post to the group for the
operating system you are having trouble with?

Vista issues should be posted to one of the Vista newsgroups such as.
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.vista.general

Or if you must use the web interface:
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.mspx

Buy some speakers you cheap-ass-mofo. You can get them for under
twenty bucks. My guess is that the quality of sound from them will
suit you for the rest of your miserable life.
