I have a program, CAD, that when executed, opens another program, ProQA. Upon
opening, they open fine and function fine. But when CAD is shutdown, I keep
getting the following error...
Access violation at address 0063C99D in module 'CEWIN.exe.' Read of address
0000004C. CEWIN.exe is the executable for ProQA. I have gone round and round
with both vendors and neither can fix it. CAD programs needs to use DDE to
pass commands back and forth to open ProQA at startup. Is a variable just
missing at shutdown ? Can anyone recommend things to look at ? I'm tired of
fighting with the vendors for a year long problem. If both applications
function fine, and error only occurs on shutdown, is this a DDE error?
According to one vendor it is.
Workstations are Windows XP SP2.
Thank you in advanced,
Debra
