System Volume Information

Hi:

My XP System tends to slow down after a day or two of
use. When I go to defragment the computer, it always
shows the System Volume Information_restore file with the
most fragments. The longer I go the greater the
defragmented files in System Volume Information_restore.

How can I correct this so I do not have to defrag all of
the time? Sometimes I can get from 5 to 25 %
fragmentation, with limited usage.

System Volume Information is the System Restore files.
It should not be an issue no matter how much it is fragmented since it
is rarely used and then only in an emergency.

For automatic defragging use a third party utility. I like Diskeeper
