Live messenger causes internet disconnection

When having a video-conversation with live messenger afther 15 minutes my
internetconnection goes down.
I completly re-installed windows XP with all updates and live messenger 8,
changed network card and did a bios upgrade, I never have problems with my
internetconnection when playing games etc.
Only time this happens is when using messenger ( also tried messenger 7.5).
Do I have a hardware problem, or can messenger cause this problem somehow?
Only thing I can do to reconnect is restart my PC (all connection fail, also
IE, etc).

I seem to have the exact same problem (although in my case it seems to
happen after about 25 minutes).

This has only started happening since I recently upgraded to Live Messenger.
It never happened with 7.5.

Anybody have any ideas?
