I had no problems running Xp on an old AMD 400. I
recently upgraded to an XP2500 setup with a generic
nForce MX440SE 64Mbddr+TV out card and since then my
system locks up, freezes, screen goes black and the only
thing that seems to help to manually reset my graphics
hardware acceleration to none after a reboot. Have only
tried this recently but it seems to work...I reckon there
could be some sort of incompatibility issue with XP. Then
again I'm no expert and I did put the hardware together
without any professional help.
You could try that as a fix...If anyone else has any
ideas I'd be intersted in hearing from you..
