My Internet Explorer program was corrupted some way I
tried uninstall and replace but had no luck. Finally, in
desperartion I decided to just re-install windows. It
worked the Internet explorer on the new install works
perfectly. But now I have another problem when I start my
computer a screen comes up and gives me a choice between
to different boots. The old boot has the corrupted IE but
has all my data from Works, Quicken, Outlook Epress etc.
The new boot has a working IE.

How do I get my data and the working Internet Explorer
together?

Bill, what you did was install a parallel WinXP. Just Delete the Older
WinXP Windows Folder. All your old files are in
the old Documents and Settings Folder so don't delete those until you
move your files. To eliminate the Boot Menu
rt click MyComputer>select Properties>Advanced>Startup and
Recovery-Settings> Edit Change the Timeout=30
Value to 1.
