i use an AMCAP webcam that records in AVI format and plays as windows
playlist on wmp. i'm trying to make a movie of my recording on movie maker
but it keeps saying it is not supported. how do i convert a media playlist
into the format that a movie maker will play? thanks

You need to ascertain which type of avi file the web cam records in, should
say in the manual and then google for a converter from *.avi to wmv or
dv-avi, both of which will play ok in MM.

Thanks, what i actually did was to re save it in an avi mode, i just open up
the project and saved as 'the project.avi' and it opened up in movie maker.
