Latest version of Windows Messenger

What is the latest version of Windows Messenger? I am running XP Pro
SP2 and my Windows Messenger version is 5.1 (5.1.0701). Is this the
latest version? Can't tell from the MS Windows Messenger site. I'm
thinking that an update may solve my problem with unlinked URLs when
someone IMs me a URL.

It's not a problem, it's a feature.

To turn the links back on, simply download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/engagelinks.reg

You'll need to restart Messenger to see the change.
