Movie Maker 2.1 audio sync problem

when i am making a movie first i add the audio then some clips to it. if i
play from the beginning the audio is fine and right where it is supposed to
be, but if i pickup playing it from a clip in the middle of my movie it is
all wrong and doesn't match the clips or the audio section on the timeline.
can anyone help me?

I think I can. I had this problem using mp3 format. I saved the song with
movie maker which converts it to .wma and it worked fine.
