unwanted i e files, how to get rid of them

Just open IE go to tools > Internet options click on the general tab
and you can delete cookies,
temp files and clear history.

Empty Temp Folders 2.8.3.
It allows you to keep those cookies, etc. that you want. Can also be
configured to erase various categories like temporary internet files
upon reboot.
