Importing DV

Can anyone help. When I am trying to import DV into version 2.1 the saving as
AVI file option is is not highlighted so i can't save in that format and then
burn to DVD.

You don't say how the cam is connected to the pc, or what type of cam it is.

If it is a minidv cam you need to connect via firewire
