Hello!

I am brand new to the dual monitor world. Can Windows Media Player 10 be
configured to play DVD's on the second monitor while the controls remain on
the first?

Yes, install and configure this tool.(Windows Media Professional Exhibitor,
Version 2.0.1.3) at here:
