avi problems

hi guys

im having trouble playin avi files on wmp. i have all the codecs and it
was working fine untill 3 days ago. even Divx wont play the files. i cna
however play them on other players such as vlc but i do prefer wmp. i
even used gspot and it says i hve the codecs installed. any ideas why
im getting the error?

If you installed anything since the last time things worked, that may
have broken something. It happens. Assuming your AVI is a DivX file,
try to reinstall DivX and/or WMP.
