Help! I have programs that appear in Ctrl Panel -
Add/Remove programs that I would like to delete from
there. The items that appear, but have NO bytes, are
Internet 404 and Tools for Internet Explorer. From
everything I've read via the webpages, these were most
likely added when Huntbar self installed on my computer.
I have used SPYBOT to remove all these spyware programs,
but apparently those two entries remained in Ctrl Panel.
I cannot remove them, else I get the error message: Error
loading C:\Program~1\common~1\msiets\msienlink.dll
Specified module could not be found. HOW can I get these
OUT of control panel? I also have 3 listings of
SPYSTOPPER appearing in Ctrl Panel which I cannot remove
and get the error msg: An error occurred while attempting
to uninstall Spystopper. HELP PLEASE!!!! Thanks!!!

The designers of the spyware programs were in a good mood when they designed
these programs. They allowed you to remove them and provided an easy means
of doing so. Unfourtunatly you deleted them through a spyware scanner which
just deletes the files and not system settings.

I would suggest re-installing the programs, then uninstalling them via the
add/remove applet but that could be a problem here with the fact that they
are spyware. Someone may be able to tell you a way of manually removing the
programs entrys from the add/remove by using the registry or some inf file.

You could take your chances and install the spyware, uninstall it
(add/remove) and then run a spyware scanner for any leftover parts that were
not removed.
