Message: Error loading OS after tripped circuit breaker

Recently I had a circuit breaker tripped and now my
computer won't boot. I get the message "error loading
OS" and can't seem to bypass this. I have tried booting
from an emergency backup 3 1/2 floppy and I have also
tried booting from a CD. Both in vain.

Chris, hold F8 on Startup and if you get a Menu select Last Known good
Configuration. In order to boot from the CD
it has to be number 1 in the boot order. You can change that in the Bios.
